Mobility Studies

Study of sustainable mobility needs and projects for tourists in the Charlevoix Region, led by Transamo Canada in collaboration with Coop Carbone

Faced with growing tourist traffic and the dispersion of activity hubs across the region, the Charlevoix region aims to improve site accessibility, reduce traffic congestion, and enhance the visitor experience year-round through sustainable mobility solutions. Transamo Canada, in collaboration with Coop Carbone , has been commissioned by Tourisme Charlevoix (the regional tourism association) to conduct a study to provide a detailed overview of tourist travel patterns and propose scenarios for developing mobility services tailored to the regional context and the needs of tourists.

T12 Tram-Train Line Project: A Complex Urban Transportation Venture - France

As part of the effort to promote more sustainable mobility, Île-de-France Mobilités, the regional transit authority, of the Île-de-France region, appointed Transamo to coordinate and manage the construction and commissioning of the T12 tram-train line. This new public transportation system impacts the urban landscape and connects two major economic hubs located south of Paris. The successful implementation of the project was made possible by Transamo's skilled leadership, technical expertise, and adherence to environmental regulations, allowing them to overcome various technological challenges. Since its December 2023 launch, the line has carried over 6,000 passengers who use the line daily.

Project Management Support for the Redevelopment of La Rochelle Station’s Multimodal Transit Hub Redevelopment - France

Transamo was commissioned by La Rochelle to support the transformation of its railway station into a multimodal transit hub, at the as the core of a major urban reconfiguration project to relieve congestion in the city centre, improve pedestrian access, facilitate seamless intermodal connections to the public transport system, and better connect the different districts of the city. Transamo was entrusted with a wide range of tasks, from defining the operational conditions for setting up and monitoring the process between the various partners, to the overall coordination of the project and assistance with project management.
